nothing new…

I don’t really have anything new to add. I am totally off-plan as far as food intake goes because I am out of town lunch and dinner the next few days. Yesterday, while I was able to keep it relatively good calorie-wise (1500 give or take), my choices were not stellar and I got no exercise out side of walking to and from my car.

I know someone totally sold on the omninutrition drops. I’ve looked into this a little bit after seeing her results and I am wondering what the deal is. I read one person’s account of her journey and it looks like you are only supposed to consume 500 calories a day for the first month or so. This is scary and unhealthy, in my humble opinion, and I suspect is the real reason why people see results so quickly. I’m guessing it’s just another diet scam. I’ve never seen the products, but according to several reviews on Spark People, it’s basically water. From what I did read about the products, it’s vitamins in liquid form and boat-loads of caffeine.

Anyway, what are your thoughts? I recently gave in to the garcinia cambogia hype and regret the waste of money. I think this omni thing is the same sort of deal. (Not to be confused with the omni-diet which I gather is like caveman eating – only fresh from the earth meats and vegetables)

I wish there really was a magic pill for weight loss, but after all these years, it has finally sunk in that nothing beats good old fashioned exercise and nutrition.
