Progress update
We did get the new dishwasher and garage fridge (yay!!) I had no idea that dishwashers were hard wired into the house. Now I do. I was also reminded that the installation fee is TOTALLY worth it. I don’t know why I talk myself into DIY…
Then, my husband, who is really not a DIYer got all cranky after the dishwasher episode and started in on me about the garage (which was admittedly bad since it’s basically a storage unit) and threatened to take every last thing in there to the dump – so of course I got up at 7 am and spent All. Darn. Day. working on said garage. We took a SUV load to the Goodwill and a truck load to the dump. All the yard sale items from the bedroom purge are neatly stacked and my son put together my golf storage rack while we were at the donation center so my golf stuff is nice and tidy now too.
I should’ve taken pictures. The transformation is impressive. Now I’m onto the pantry finally! Tomorrow is my last day of vacation 🙁
