Home Front Revitalization Project – phase II

So, I’ve been thinking about this and, at first, I wasn’t going to do the kids’ rooms, but now I think I will. I just wish my budget matched my visions….

So, this will sound a little circular, but this is the plan:

Luke’s room: I want to remove the spare bed and dresser and get a closet organizer for his clothes. Then, his toys can come out of the basement, living room, and everywhere else in the house and go in his room instead. Before this can happen, see, “Grae’s Room” below.

Grae’s room: I want to put the spare mattress on her trundle, but can’t because her room is a disaster and you can barely walk in there let alone get the trundle out. She refuses to clean her room and/or her idea of “clean” is not the same as everyone else’s idea. She will need some organizer tools but this will have to wait. See, “Christmas Presents” below.

Andrew &Jacob’s room: errr….don’t even know where to begin other than they really (really) need new dressers and we need to purge old toys. I will need to look for bargain dressers.

Brendan would like new furniture. This will definitely have to wait. Surprisingly, other than the volumes of pop cans he keeps in there, his room is pretty tidy.

My room: This gives me a headache to think about. So many ideas, so little $$. I haven’t had a dresser since I moved in here, but I may take Luke’s. Or…Kaila just mentioned wanting a dresser and since technically the dresser is hers, maybe I will offer it back to her for her new apartment.

Christmas presents: Everyone is getting some kind of room organization thing for Christmas. No toys this year.

The photos will, I am sure, be very embarrassing, but…I will post them. I will.
